ICPHH Israel Trip 2015

A core group of ICPHH recently met with a number of officials in Israel to discuss efforts to protect and secure Har HaZeitim.

Asifah, May 2015

At a special asifah on Sunday at the Agudah of Avenue L, Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin, convened by the International Committee for the Preservation of Har Hazeisim (ICPHH), an overflow crowd of more than 600 people heard appeals from members of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and other notables to secure the violence-plagued Har Hazeisim.

Issues Facing Har HaZeitim

A host of issues face Har HaZeitim on a daily basis: violence of local youth towards visitors and mourners; desecration of graves; and inadequate police patrols.

The Work of ICPHH

The ICPHH works to insure that fences are built, security cameras installed and monitored, police patrols increased, and tough new laws on desecration of graves and on violence against mourners and visitors are passed in the Knesset.

Notables Buried on Har HaZeitim

Visitors are drawn to the grave sites of some of the most important figures in recent Jewish history.
