Leaders of the ICHH met with MK Rabbi Yoav ben Zur in August during his brief visit to the US. MK ben Zur is the Chairman of the 67-member Knesset Caucus on Har Hazeitim. Amongst the topics to be discussed were continued upgrade of security and other infrastructure improvements.

At the initiative of the ICPHH, Yatar and the Israel Police have reached an agreement to add patrols on Har Hazeitim. Yatar is an Auxiliary Police organizations. The Yatar volunteers will especially add manpower during the night time hours.
