Israeli authorities on Tuesday arrested a 20-year-old resident of A-Tur, the Arab neighborhood adjacent to Har Hazeitim, on suspicion of stabbing a yeshiva student who was returning to his bus after participating in the yahrzeit of the Slonimer Rebbe last week. It was the first such attack in many years.

More than 4,000 people participated in the First Annual “Har Hazeitim Comes to Life” atop Har Hazeitim. It was cosponsored by the ICPHH and Israel’s Ministry of Culture. It featured a day of Chasidic music and tours of the holy mountain.
